A country takes the colour of its most serious entry. Armed conflicts follow the UCDP/PRIO Armed Conflict Dataset (v26.1, covering 2025): at least 25 battle-related deaths in a year. Tensions and unrest are ALTARA's assessment. Governments backing another state's war are listed as involved but keep their own colour. Borders follow India's official map view (Natural Earth).
